Oppo is gearing up to respond with its own innovative products. The company has confirmed a launch event for September 1, where it is expected to unveil its new generation of foldable phones, including the much-anticipated Oppo Find N3 and Find N3 Flip.
The Oppo Find N3 is rumored to be powered by a 3.36GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and will feature a triple camera array, with a 64MP periscope telephoto lens as the highlight. The device is also expected to support rapid 50W wireless charging, setting a new standard in the smartphone industry.
The Find N3 Flip, on the other hand, is set to retain the design and specifications of its predecessor, the Find N2 Flip. However, it will distinguish itself with an upgraded camera system. Unlike the dual-camera setup of the Find N2 Flip, the N3 Flip is anticipated to introduce a triple camera module, prominently featuring a 32MP telephoto camera.
In addition to the foldable phones, Oppo is also expected to launch the Oppo Pad Air 2 tablet and the Oppo Watch 5 series at the event. The Oppo Pad Air 2 is still shrouded in mystery, with only a few details available. It is known to have an 8,000 mAh battery and 5G connectivity.
The Watch 5 series, skipping the number 4 due to cultural superstitions in China, is rumored to feature a curved AMOLED display, a 570 mAh battery, and eSIM support. The smartwatch is expected to be available in white and black carbon fiber shades and will include two models: the Watch 5 and the Watch 5 Pro.
As the tech world eagerly awaits Oppo’s launch event, it remains to be seen whether there will be any additional surprises in store.
