OGRA Reduces LPG price by Rs19.45 per kg

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has reduced the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from Rs19.45 per kilogram to Rs177.29 per kilogram.

The increased pricing will be implemented on July 1. As a consequence, the price of an 11.8 kilogram home LPG cylinder has dropped by Rs229.54 (Rs229.54 for a cylinder with a capacity of 11.8 kg). The residential cylinder is currently available for purchase for Rs2,092.

The news comes after Finance Minister Ishaq Dar declared that petrol prices would remain unchanged, but diesel prices will rise by Rs7.50 per litre over the next two weeks. The revised diesel price would go into effect on July 1.

Despite the decision to raise diesel prices, Minister Dar stated that petrol prices will stay constant. This announcement offers clarity and ensures that customers are aware of petrol price changes. The new fuel price will be Rs260.50 per litre.
