At the time of its compilation, the Quran was split into 30 para or Juz. The main reason for dividing the Quran Surahs into Juz or Para is to make it easier for individuals to learn and read the Quran. The Juz is further divided into Hizb, which is half the length of the Juz or para, and the Quran has 60 Hizb. Each Juz has a different number of verses.

Parts is the meaning of Juz or Para. The Quran is divided into thirty parts, each of which has a different length. Juz 30 is the most memorized Juz or Para of the Quran since it contains Surahs that are short in length and thus easy to learn and remember. The Quran was only divided into Surahs during the Prophet’s (Peace be Upon Him) time period. Caliph Umar ibn Khattab introduced the division of the Quran according to para or Juz.

- 1. The first Para or Juz of the Quran is Alif-laam-meem(آلم ) which has 2 Surahs the first one is Surah Al-Fatiha and another one is Al-Baqarah.
- 2. The second Para or Juz of the Quran is Sayaqūlu (سَيَقُولُ) which have only 1 Surah that is Surah Al-Baqarah.
- 3. The third Para or Juz of the Quran is Tilka ’r-Rusulu (الرُّسُلُ تِلْكَ) which has Surahs the first one is Surah Al-Baqarah and second is Aal-Imran
- 4. The fourth Para or Juz of the Quran is Lan Tana Loo (تَنَالُوا لَنْ) which has 2 Surahs the first one is Surah Aal-Imran and second is An-Nisa
