Disney always manages to take the fandom by surprise, bringing some of the most respected storylines in the most amazing way possible. The studio produced a live-action remake of the animated film of the same name, of which the original movie was released in 1994.
Again, the live-action version stood marginally lower than the original one, even though it had a great box office collection.

The official synopsis of Mufasa: According to the movie The Lion King :
Mufasa: The Lion King, you get Rafiki telling the story again, this time to young Simba and Nala’s daughter, Kiara, and Timon and Pumbaa being themselves. Using a narrative technique of flashback, the audience learns about Mufasa’s early years as an abandoned cub before Taka takes him in; Taka is a fully-grown lion and an heir to the throne.
