MoITT and PSEB Launch 6-Month Paid Internship Program

Prime Minister’s Youth Program Industry Placement program has been officially launched by Ministry of IT and Telecom (MoITT) in collaboration with the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB).

This six-month paid program gives the opportunity to relevant final-year IT students and recent graduates an opportunity to work in an IT setting and gain benefits through real-life experience in the industry. Selected participants under the initiative will work under top IT corporations in Pakistan and will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 30,000.

According to MoITT, the program would help close the gaps between academic education and the needs of industries so that the participants can acquire skills in high demand to become more employable and innovative in the technological industry. The program is also aligned with the government’s vision on the IT industry of Pakistan and the desire to recruit more skilled workers.

Applications are now open, and candidates can apply via the official portal: skills.techdestination.com.
