MG Pakistan has officially introduced the MG4 in two distinct variants, the MG4 Excite and the MG4 Essence. The unveiling event took place in Karachi, marking a new chapter for the automaker in the country’s burgeoning EV market.
The MG4 is now available to Pakistani consumers. This vehicle promises a blend of performance and technology, with the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.2 seconds. This impressive feat is made possible by a powerful motor that delivers up to 200 horsepower and a peak torque of 250NM.
Both variants of the MG4 are equipped with state-of-the-art features, including a Rear-Wheel-Drive system, a 10.25-inch floating digital touchscreen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Vehicle to Load capabilities, and the MG Pilot active safety suite. These features ensure that drivers will have a comfortable, connected, and safe driving experience.
When it comes to charging, MG claims that the MG4 can be charged from 10% to 80% in a mere 35 minutes using a fast charger. This quick charging capability is essential for EV users who are on the go and need to minimize downtime.
The MG4 Excite variant comes with a 51 kWh battery that offers an impressive range of 350 km on a single charge, making it suitable for daily commutes and short trips. It carries a price tag of PKR 10,999,000, excluding freight and withholding tax. On the other hand, the MG4 Essence is powered by a larger 64 kWh battery, providing an outstanding range of 450 km, ideal for longer journeys, especially inter-city travel via motorways. The Essence is priced at PKR 12,990,000, excluding freight and withholding tax.
