Melbourne University Graduate Research Scholarship through PMs Youth Program

The Prime Minister’s Youth Program has launched a new initiative: the Application for Graduate Research Scholarship. This initiative is specifically designed to assist students who have accepted offers for research-oriented courses at the prestigious University of Melbourne but have either deferred their commencement or are currently enrolled in graduate research programs.
The scholarship program offers a wide range of graduate research courses for aspiring scholars to choose from. These include the Doctor of Philosophy, Doctorate by Research, Master of Philosophy (MPhil), and Masters by Research.
To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must meet specific requirements for their chosen course, demonstrate proficiency in English, and comply with student visa conditions as set out by the Department of Home Affairs. Successful candidates will automatically be considered for the Graduate Research Scholarship, which covers both living and tuition expenses.
The application process requires the submission of essential documents such as academic transcripts and a well-structured CV. Candidates are encouraged to submit their applications directly via the University of Melbourne’s online application form, accessible through their online platform.
Following submission, all applications will undergo a thorough evaluation process. Applicants will then be notified about the outcomes of their applications. In addition to the Graduate Research Scholarship, eligible candidates may also be considered for a variety of additional scholarships and bursaries, some of which require separate application procedures.
The PM’s Youth Program also advises international students and those requiring relocation to plan their accommodation arrangements well in advance.
By providing these insights and guidance, the PM’s Youth Program aims to facilitate academic pursuits, foster the growth of future scholars, and enrich the research landscape at the University of Melbourne.
