ICC Starts Ticket Registration for Cricket World Cup 2023

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially commenced the registration process for tickets to the eagerly awaited One Day International (ODI) World Cup 2023. The announcement was made on the ICC’s official website, where the registration began at 3:30 pm.
The ODI World Cup 2023, a marquee event in the world of cricket, is set to take place in India. The tournament will feature 48 matches, with the opening game scheduled for October 5. The first match will see a thrilling face-off between the finalists of the 2019 World Cup, England, and Australia.
Chris Tetley, the ICC Head of Events, confirmed that the tickets would be available online from August 25. This move is aimed at catering to the global community of cricket enthusiasts. He encouraged fans to register their interest as early as possible to ensure they receive timely updates about ticket availability and secure their chance to be part of the World Cup experience.
In addition to the main tournament games, the ICC will also initiate ticket sales for the warm-up matches on August 25. However, these initial sales will not include matches featuring the host nation, India.
Notably, tickets for the two semi-finals and the final match, which will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, will go on sale later, on September 15. This staggered approach to ticket sales ensures that fans have multiple opportunities to secure their seats for this much-anticipated event.
As the cricketing world gears up for the ODI World Cup 2023, the commencement of ticket registration marks an exciting milestone in the lead-up to the tournament. Fans worldwide are encouraged to register their interest and stay tuned for further updates.
