WhatsApp has given us a reason to chat with each other more quickly, no matter how far away we are. However, with this blessing came the WhatsApp Feature, which abuses your privacy in some way.
Blue ticks are an unwelcome feature on WhatsApp that tells someone you have read a message even though you don’t want them to hear it. Here’s how to turn off What’s app’s blue ticks.
Disable Blue Ticks on WhatsApp now to protect your privacy
Blue Ticks are one of WhatsApp’s most divisive features since some people feel they violate their privacy on the site. I tried to conceal that I had read the letter, whether it was from Boss or another family member, on many occasions. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to respond to them because of this feature.
After a long search, I discovered I could disable the blue ticks feature. Most people will also be confused as to how. Here are a few measures to switch off the Blue Tick feature on WhatsApp.
- Go to the Account Settings section of your WhatsApp account.
- Select Account Options from the drop-down menu
- Select Privacy from the drop-down menu.
- Disable the Read Receipts feature.
After you disable blue ticks on WhatsApp, you will no longer be able to see the blue ticks of others, even though they haven’t disabled this function. This is the feature’s most serious flaw.
It’s also worth noting that the read receipt feature for community chats and the play receipt option for voice chats cannot be disabled or switched off.
