How to Convert to Islam?
To convert to Islam and become a Muslim, all you have to do is say the Witness of Faith ‘Shahada,’ it’s like that I confirm “La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad Rasool Allah.” with sincere faith. The word “Islam” means “submission to God’s will.” According to Islam, to achieve genuine true serenity and assurance of heart, one must submit to God and live according to His Divinely revealed Law.
The person converts to Islam and becomes a Muslim by saying the Testimony of Faith (Shahada) with certainty and accepting its importance. With 1.9 billion followers, Islam is the world’s second-largest religion. Thousands of non-Muslims convert to Islam each year. Islam is not a new religion; it began in the 7th century in Medina and Makkah.
To convert to Islam and to be Muslim one should be
- Consider that the Holy Quran is the exacting expression of God, uncovered by Him.
- Believe on the Day of Judgment that it is valid and will come.
- Accept all the prophets that God sent and the books He uncovered, and in His holy messengers.
- Accept Islam as their religion.
Not adore anything nor anybody with the exception of God.
