- Quails 6
- Onion chopped 1
- Gallic 4 – 5 cloves
- Ginger 1 piece
- Gram flour 3 – 4 tbsp
- Saltto taste
- Cumin seeds crushed 1 tsp
- All spice powder 1 tsp
- Dry mango powder 1 tsp
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Baking powder ½ tsp
- Oilfor fry
Method
- 1. Blend together 1 onion, 4 – 5 cloves of garlic, 1 medium piece of ginger and a little water. Blend to smooth paste.
- 2. Remove paste in a bowl, add in 1 tsp crushed cumin seeds, 1 tsp all spice powder, 1 tsp dry mango powder, 1 tsp chili powder, ½ tsp baking powder and salt to taste. Mix well.
- 3. Now marinate quails with prepared marinade. Coat each with 3 – 4 tbsp gram flour and deep fry till golden brown.
- 4. Now arrange fried batair in a serving platter. Sprinkle lemon juice on top and serve hot.
