Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education FBISE Islamabad has initiated online registration for the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) 2024. It allows students from affiliated schools and colleges across matric, intermediate, A-Levels, and O-Levels to sign up for the global computer science competition.

Eligibility Criteria

Board has outlined eligibility criteria for interested students. They must be enrolled in grades 9-12 at FBISE-affiliated institutions. Students adept in computer programming and algorithms can register online on the board’s portal.

Registration Process

The streamlined registration system allows students to complete the application form and submit it digitally. They are required to provide personal and academic details for evaluation by the selection committee. Shortlisted candidates will undergo further tests before representing Pakistan at IOI 2024.

Nurturing Young Talent

Federal government has tasked FBISE Islamabad with grooming exceptional technology talent. Enabling student participation in programs like IOI allows Pakistan to showcase its brightest young minds at international forums. With proper training and guidance, these students can excel in global coding competitions.

Board aims to make the most of this opportunity by having an organized selection process. The online registration feature also allows wider accessibility to students across FBISE-affiliated schools in Islamabad and beyond.
