The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) of Dubai has officially declared the Eid Al-Adha breaks for private schools around the emirate.
Schools will be closed from Tuesday, June 27 to Sunday, July 2, offering children a six-day holiday for Eid Al-Adha celebrations.
KDHA wrote on Twitter, “Do you know what you should always have before a long summer vacation?” A shorter vacation! Schools will be closed for Eid Al Adha beginning Tuesday, June 27, and will reopen on Monday, July 3.”
Previously, the Dubai Government granted Eid Al-Adha vacations for public sector employees, providing them time off to commemorate these important dates.
The holiday will begin on 9 Dhul Hijjah and end on 12 Dhul Hijjah. The government’s Department of Human Resources selects these dates.
