British Council Pakistan Cancels More Cambridge, London University, and Pearson Exams
The British Council said on Thursday that the Cambridge school examinations scheduled for today, May 12, had been canceled owing to the country’s dangerous circumstances.
According to the British Council, all tests for both morning and evening hours have been canceled. They also stated that they are in communication with Cambridge to determine the next steps and will provide further information as soon as possible.
Amir Ramzan, Country Director of the British Council, and Uzma Yousuf, Country Director of Cambridge International Examinations, both expressed their support for the candidates and parents at this difficult time. They stated that canceling the tests on May 10, 11, and 12 was a difficult choice, but they emphasized that the safety and well-being of everyone participating are their priorities.
The statement recognized that the present circumstance has affected the student’s academic path and assured them that they are doing all possible to guarantee their education continues uninterrupted.
The British Council informed the students that they are monitoring the issue and would keep them informed of any further developments. They also stressed their commitment to providing students with a safe and secure environment in which to take their examinations.
