Translation of Ayatul Kursi

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Beneficent.

Allah! But for Him, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining, there is no god worthy of worship. He is not overcome by drowsiness or sleep. Everything in the heavens and everything on earth belongs to Him. Who could possible make an intercession for Him without His permission? He completely understands what is ahead and behind them, yet no one can grasp any of His knowledge—except what He chooses to share. His Seat covers both the heavens and the earth, and maintaining both does not tire Him. For He is the Highest and the Greatest.

Attributes of Allah SWT

Six attributes of Allah SWT are mentioned in Ayat Al Kursi. These attributes are as follows:

• Ever-living 
• The highest
• The one and only
• All-knowing 
• The protector
• The sustainer

The praise of Almighty Allah is described uniquely in Ayat Al Kursi. According to Ayatul Kursi, everything in heaven and the universe belongs to Allah. He sees and hears everything.
