Apple has released the visionOS 26 beta 3 update to the Vision Pro headset as it works to perfect spatial computing. It is the second huge update after the release of Vision Pro and makes Apple’s new platform look more mature.
Among the most interesting changes is the new enhanced Personas feature, now officially out of beta. According to Apple, the new Personas offer more realistic (facial expressions, more realistic skin rendering, accurate hair rendering, and even full side profile views).
Another feature is the addition of Spatial Widgets. You are now able to place these widgets in your physical setting, and they will be fixed where you leave them each time you start up Vision Pro. Users can customize every widget’s frame, width, color, and depth.
There is also a new Spatial Scenes update that uses AI to convert flat photos into 3D environments. Meanwhile, Safari will get Spatial Browsing, allowing users to hide themselves when reading, and even view interactive content through the newspaper photos in a 180-degree or 360-degree format.
Apple is also enabling Shared Spatial Experiences, so that various users with Vision Pro can collaborate, play video games, or watch movies together in a synchronized digital space.
Finally, third-party accessories such as the PlayStation VR2 Sense controller are being supported, as well.
Apple has also made iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe, watchOS 26, and tvOS 26 beta 3 releases, also extending its list of developing software.
