New Emirates ID Card Fee for Pakistani Residents in UAE [Updated]

Emirates ID is issued to UAE nationals and residents that also include Pakistani citizens by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security-ICP. Emiratis hold Emirates ID cards which are used for many legal processes and are enforceable.

Where to Apply for New ID Card

Emirates ID cards for Pakistani citizens can be made available by visiting the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security-ICP or at an authorized typing center. The ICP may require applicants to attend in person at one of the ICP service points to provide their biometric information.

Required Documents for Emirates ID for Pakistani Expats

  • Valid passport
  • Permit for a residence permit, residence origin under renewal process, or a valid residence permit for those who did not receive an identity card when the residence permit was issued.
  • Personal photos with a white background for every age group.
  • Individuals applying on behalf of the applicant must provide their original agency certificate.

Emirates ID Card Fee Update for Pakistani Residents in UAE

As of June 2024, the pricing structure for getting a new Emirates ID card in the UAE for Pakistani residents is as follows:

  • AED 100: Card issuance fee for five years
  • AED 150: Service fee
  • AED 30: Typing Center fee
  • AED 150: Urgent service fee for applications processed at customer happiness centers

This means Pakistani expats living in the UAE will know exactly how much and how to pay the Emirates ID card fee, on-time registration for any important govt services and also to take care of any legal issues (Residency permit).
