
The State Bank of Pakistan continues to offer Prize Bonds under the National Savings Scheme. 1500 Prize Bond Winning Prize
The 1500 Prize Bond is one such offering, and the Peshawar Office of the National Savings Division has announced that the balloting for Draw No. 95 of this bond will take place on 15th August 2023. These bonds are a bearer type of investment and are available in various denominations including Rs. 100, Rs. 200, Rs. 750, Rs. 1500, Rs. 7500, Rs. 15,000, Rs. 25000, Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 40000 Premium Bonds.

In addition to the traditional prize bonds, the Pakistani government has decided to introduce digital prize bonds as part of its Digital Prize Bonds initiative. The first phase will see the introduction of Rs1,000 prize bonds, with denominations of 500, 1,000, 5,000, and 10,000 to be introduced in subsequent phases.
Digital Prize Bond 2023
These digital prize bonds will be issued by National Savings and aim to make the process paper-free. Buyers will be able to access their bonds through the “Digital Prize Bond Gateway,” an online platform accessible via a dedicated application. Draws for these digital bonds will occur quarterly or as directed by the Finance Division. The draw schedule will be declared at the start of each calendar year by National Savings, with results published in the official Gazette.
This move towards digitalization not only modernizes the process but also increases accessibility for buyers, making it easier for them to invest in their future.
