Karachi University has announced the closing percentages for admissions to various undergraduate and graduate programs for the 2024 academic year, including BS, BEd, DPT and PharmD. The university conducts its own entrance test to grant admissions to these programs.
According to the notification, candidates have to secure certain minimum scores in the entrance test to be eligible for admission. The minimum test scores vary for different programs.
For popular programs like BS and PharmD Morning, candidates need very high scores to get admission.

Apart from the test scores, the university has also announced category-wise closing percentages for admissions. These percentages are calculated based on the last merit scores of candidates granted admission in previous years.
The closing percentages give candidates an idea of the academic merit they would need to secure admission.
The University of Karachi offers a wide range of programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The BS and BEd programs cover major disciplines in the faculties of Arts, Science, Pharmacy, Management, Education etc.
The Doctor of Pharmacy (Morning and Evening) and Doctor of Physical Therapy are professional degree programs offered by the respective faculties.
The admission process including submission of forms, entrance test and announcement of results is expected to commence soon.
