Quaid i Azam University Islamabad Revised Schedule

Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad has announced a revised academic schedule. The university will be temporarily closed from Tuesday, August 15, 2023, until Friday, August 18, 2023, in order to ensure the safety and well-being of its community during this significant religious event.

The decision to close the university during this period was made in accordance with security guidelines provided by the ICT administration. During the closure, students, faculty, and staff members are encouraged to reflect on the significance of the Urs of Hazrat Bari Imam and engage in personal growth and introspection. The university is set to resume its regular operations on Saturday, August 19, 2023.

In addition to the temporary closure, the university has also extended the teaching period for the ongoing summer semester until September 10th, 2023. This extension is designed to accommodate the interruption caused by the university’s closure and to ensure that students receive the necessary instructional time and support to successfully complete their courses.

This decision was made with the approval of the Competent Authority, ensuring that academic standards and students’ educational needs remain a top priority. Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, known for its academic excellence and commitment to producing well-rounded graduates, demonstrates its dedication to fostering a harmonious balance between education and cultural observances through these adjustments.

The university administration remains committed to providing a conducive learning environment while also respecting and responding to the cultural and religious events that hold importance in the lives of its students and staff.
