BISE Mardan Board has introduced a revised fee structure for the SSC and HSSC examinations. According to a notification issued by the BISE, the changes aim to streamline the exam fees charged to students.
The new fee structure sets the rate for the SSC registration fee at PKR 850, while the HSSC registration fee is PKR 1,050. Additionally, students are required to submit PKR 800 as a practical exam fee for science subjects.
When announcing the new rates, the BISE Mardan chairperson emphasized the affordability of the updated fees. “We try our best to minimize the financial burden on students by keeping our charges as low as possible without compromising the quality of exam services,” he said.

The notification also outlined the late fees applicable if students fail to submit exam registration forms on time. The new fee regime removes several additional charges that were previously part of the exam fees, in a bid to simplify the structure.
Officials said the changes come after extensive consultations and are aligned with the fee frameworks employed by other BISE boards across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Stakeholders believe the standardization of exam fees will benefit students transitioning between boards.
The BISE Mardan has asked all affiliated colleges and schools to ensure their students are aware of the new exam fee rates for the upcoming SSC and HSSC examination sessions.
