Due to the heavy rainfall, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KP has decided to cancel the matric annual exam papers in Chitral that were scheduled from Thursday to Saturday. Student health conditions in bad weather were the reason behind the decision, which was reached during a meeting in Peshawar chaired by Education Minister Faisal Khan Tarakai.
The meeting also decided to postpone the due date for these papers. In Chitral, the Matric Exams have been postponed owing to heavy rainfall; students can get more information here.
The exams in the other districts will go ahead as scheduled, following the original schedule. All boards have been directed by the Minister of Education to quickly assign duties to exam staff, ensure thorough security measures, and make logistical preparations. Also, strict warnings have been issued against anyone involved in the unauthorized leaking of exam papers.
