The KP government has decided to implement stringent measures. The decision comes in the wake of a cheating scandal that marred the previous MDCAT exam, leading to its retake scheduled for November 26th.
The KP government is taking proactive steps to prevent any recurrence of cheating. One of the key measures includes suspending mobile tower services near exam centers during test hours. This move is aimed at combating the use of Bluetooth devices for cheating, which was a significant issue in the previous exam.
The Peshawar Police have been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the printing and handling of test materials. To further bolster security, walk-through gates, and CCTV cameras will be installed at exam centers across the province. Female police officers will also be deployed to ensure a secure environment.
To facilitate the test takers, authorities have established exam centers in 11 districts of the province, including Peshawar, DI Khan, Kohat, Mardan, Lower Dir, Swat, and Abbottabad.
The Khyber Medical University will provide information about duty staff for the exam. Notably, administrative officials from different departments will not be included in the duty staff, a move aimed at maintaining impartiality during the examination process.
These measures reflect the KP government’s commitment to uphold the credibility of the MDCAT exam and ensure a fair and transparent testing environment for all candidates.
