Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) has announced that it will be organizing its first annual conference on examination and assessment practices in Pakistan in 2023.
The 3-day conference scheduled to be held in Islamabad in March 2023 will bring together educationists and experts from across the country to discuss challenges and improvements in the country’s examination system.

The conference titled “IBCC Exams & Assessment Practices in Pakistan 2023” will be open for free registration to stakeholders in the education sector including teachers, school administrators, curriculum developers, policymakers as well as students and parents.
According to an IBCC spokesperson, the aim is to provide a platform to share knowledge and best practices when it comes to student evaluation methodology in Pakistan.
Various technical sessions and panel discussions will be held on topics such as technology integration in assessments, question paper development, preventing cheating in exams and improving the reliability of examination results among others.
The conference will conclude with the participants proposing recommendations to overhaul and upgrade the current system.
