HEC Announces IPFP Phase II Batch V Application Schedule

Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan has announced the schedule for the Interim Placement of Fresh PhDs (IPFP) Phase II Batch V program applications. The IPFP program aims to provide temporary placement opportunities for unemployed Ph.D. degree holders to gain teaching and research experience at public sector universities across the country.

According to the schedule released by HEC, the online application submission deadline is January 31st, 2023. Applicants will be able to submit their applications through the HEC online portal during this period. The applications will then be scrutinized and shortlisted candidates announced in the first week of February.

HEC IPFP Phase II Batch V Application Schedule

The interviews for shortlisted candidates are expected to be held in mid-February at HEC Secretariat Islamabad. The final selection list will be posted on the HEC website by the end of February 2023.

The selected candidates will be placed at various public sector universities to work as Assistant Professors for a period of one year, which may be extendable up to three years based on performance. The IPFP program offers a monthly stipend and other benefits to placed Ph.D. scholars.

HEC has invited eligible PhD degree holders to apply for the latest batch of IPFP Phase II placements. The commission aims to provide over 100 placements across Pakistan through this batch. Interested candidates can visit the HEC website for further details on the program and application process.
