In a surprising turn of events, a drone laden with drugs worth millions of rupees crashed into an agricultural field in Kahna town, Lahore, Punjab. The incident occurred on Friday and has shed light on a new method of drug trafficking that utilizes modern technology.
The drone, which was larger than typical drones, fell into fields owned by a local resident in Rasoolpura village, located in the Halloki area. The local residents were the ones who alerted the police about the unusual incident. Upon inspection, the police discovered that the drone was carrying several kilograms of heroin.
This incident marks a new chapter in drug peddling, where traffickers are resorting to advanced technology to carry out their illegal activities. The drone was found to be carrying a staggering 6kg of heroin when it crashed near Balloki Kahna in Rasoolpura. The agricultural land where the drone fell belongs to a man named Rozdar.
Following the discovery, the police took both the drone and the drugs into custody. The seized items have since been handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for further investigation. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
This incident underscores the evolving nature of drug trafficking and the increasing use of technology in illegal activities. It also highlights the need for law enforcement agencies to stay abreast of these changes and adapt their strategies accordingly.
