Facebook is divided into categories, including personal Timelines, which are used to interact with friends and family, and commercial Pages, which are used to market a business and engage with customers.
Most Facebook users use their business accounts as extensions of their profiles, allowing them to manage both with a single email and password.
When you no longer require a Facebook business page, you can delete it while keeping your profile intact; you can do this directly from the company page you want to delete.
How to Delete Facebook Business Pages
- Sign in to Facebook and navigate to your business page.
- Click “Edit Page” and then “Manage Permissions” from the drop-down menu.
- In the “Delete Page” section, click “Delete [Page Name]”.
- Click “Delete” to erase your page immediately. Remember that there are no further confirmation boxes or prompts; once you click “Delete,” your page is deleted.
Tip: Instead of deleting your page, consider unpublishing it; when you unpublish a page, Facebook users cannot view it, but you may still change and reactivate it later.
