BISE Mirpur AJK Board has announced the improvement of marks policy for matric students appearing in the 2024 annual exams.
As per the new policy, students who have already passed their matriculation exams can reappear in one or more subjects to improve their previous marks in the upcoming 2024 exams.
The official notification states that students will be able to appear for the improvement exam alongside the regular annual 2024 matriculation papers.
However, students should note that in case they score lower than their previous marks, their old higher marks will be retained.

The board has also clarified that students appearing for improvement papers will not be eligible for any merit position, even if they score very high. The sole purpose is to provide an opportunity to improve the final grade.
