The Bolan University of Medical & Health Sciences in Quetta, Pakistan, has officially announced the results of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2023. The announcement was made on September 18, 2023, and it was reported that over 9000 candidates appeared for the entrance test in the country’s southwestern region.

The highest score achieved by a candidate was 174 marks, which equates to approximately 87 percent in the MDCAT Entry Test in Balochistan. This year, several medical colleges in the region have been allocated a specific number of seats.
Bolan Medical College received 300 seats, Makran Medical College and Jhalavan Medical College each got 50 seats, and Loralai Medical College was allocated 50 seats. Additionally, 20 seats were reserved for Higher Education, 18 for foreign students, and 36 for other provinces.

In total, 524 MBBS seats have been allocated in Balochistan, with an additional 54 seats at Bolan Medical College reserved for BDS. The announcement of the MDCAT results is a significant event for aspiring medical and dental students in the region, marking the culmination of their hard work and dedication.
