BISE Mirpur, AJK has announced the schedule for affiliation of private educational institutes for the 2024-26 academic sessions.
Application Deadlines
As per the schedule, institutes applying for affiliation for the first time can submit application forms till January 31st, 2024. Institutes seeking renewal of affiliation can apply till March 31st, 2024.
Affiliation Requirements
The board has outlined requirements related to infrastructure, syllabus, faculty, and finances that institutes need to fulfill to get affiliation. Medical institutes will have to pay higher inspection fees.
Inspection and Affiliation Fees
The one-time inspection fee for affiliation will be Rs. 25,000 for schools and colleges. For institutes with medical technology, the fee is Rs. 35,000. An annual renewal fee will also be applicable subsequently.
Affiliation fees are non-refundable. Institutes also need to submit an endowment fund to the board as a guarantee.
The board has asked institutes to provide information related to classrooms, labs, libraries, recreation facilities, etc. while applying. The schedule aims to streamline the affiliation process.
