Bykea Ride-Hailing App Hacked

Bykea, a popular ride-hailing service, was hacked earlier today, but administrators restored it and made a statement on social media.

Users have previously reported receiving indecent messages from the Bykea app.

According to Bykea officials, the statement was sent some time ago and stated,

“We apologize for the inappropriate messaging sent through Bykea.” We can confirm that this was a hacked third-party communication platform, and our team has restored it. Bykea is a fully working and secure app. Pakistan Zindabad.”

The personal information of nearly two million users from Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad is stored in the Bykea app.
