IESCO Announces Load-Shedding Schedule for Some Areas

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) announced a planned power outage for Tuesday in several regions under its authority on Monday. The interim stoppage is necessary for routine maintenance and development activities.

An IESCO spokesperson stated that power supply to many feeders and grid stations will remain suspended from 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM in the Islamabad Circle, which includes I-11/1, I-11/3, Metro, Sohdran Road Feeders, Rawalpindi City Circle, Nogzi, Bajnyal, Mohanpura Feeders, Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, Chahan, Chontra, Rajar, Chakri, SPD, SPF feeders, Jhelum circle, Mandi Bhalwal, F-3 Gul Afshan feeders.

In addition, the Attock Circle and surrounding towns would be without electricity from 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM on the Kala Khan feeder.

This short halt is required to do periodic maintenance work that will assist assure a smooth power supply in the future. Customers of IESCO in these locations are encouraged to take appropriate measures and make alternative arrangements during the power outage.

IESCO apologizes for any difficulty this may create and assures customers that it is working hard to complete the repair work as quickly as possible so that regular power supply may be restored.
