Streaming giant Netflix has announced the renewal of Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman after the series saw huge success in Season 1.

According to a statement released by the streaming platform, the upcoming episodes of the series “continue The Sandman World.”

Although the makers are yet to update us about the total number of episodes or the plot of the sequel season or the official release date.

The official Twitter account of the series announced the good news by sharing the footage through its handle.

The tweet read, “The dream continues. Yes, it’s true: The Sandman will return to Netflix.

“Time to get back to work. After all, there’s a family dinner ahead. And Lucifer is waiting for Morpheus to return to Hell.

Neil Gaiman, creator and writer of the series who also wrote the original comic book of the same name, also shared the announcement on his Twitter handle.

According to its IMDb page, the show is rated 7.7/10 while it has a 4.⅗ on Google as well as 87% likes on Rotten Tomatoes.
