Season 6 Episode 5 Recap
Episode 5 is the latest episode of the show, which aired on 31 October 2022. The series, titled “Opportunities for Growth” is a Halloween-set episode, which follows Shawn and his colleagues at the hospital as they move to treat Skylar. With a genetic disorder that causes liver failure.
The real drama begins when Illness reveals that Skylar was born as a result of an affair. Considered between Skylar’s mother and her father’s roommate Mick. Further tension arises when Mick is the only compatible donor. Mick initially refuses to help but eventually agrees to undergo a transplant to save Skyler’s life.
As this happens, another situation arises, where Park, Jordan and Danny treat a man named Chris, who is suffering from pancreatic cancer. Chris, is a carer who takes care of his brother Ollie, who suffers from a traumatic brain injury.
Chris finds out that his cancer is gone. Park begs Sean to share his story of dealing with autism, hoping to put Chris and Ollie at ease, to which Sean agrees.
Meanwhile, Sean faces another crisis when his friend Lim refuses a potential surgery that could help him with his stroke. Danica has pushed Lim to make a decision and this will probably cause some tension in the near future.

Due to the intense heat, there is a power shortage in the hospital, due to which Lea and Dr. Glassman quickly came up with a solution. Meanwhile, tensions between Sean and Danica have escalated after a recent disagreement over Lim’s treatment.
