Frequently asked questions
Is my data uploaded to a server when I create a QR code?
No. Every QR code is generated locally in your browser, so your links, WiFi passwords, and contact details are never sent to or stored on any server.
What types of QR codes can I create?
You can generate QR codes for URLs, plain text, email, phone numbers, SMS, WhatsApp messages, WiFi networks, vCards, locations, calendar events, Bitcoin addresses, and PayPal payments.
Can I add my own logo to a QR code?
Yes. You can upload an image to embed as a center logo, and combine it with custom colors, dot styles, and corner styles for a fully branded QR code.
What is error correction level and which one should I use?
Error correction lets a QR code still scan correctly even if part of it is damaged or covered by a logo. Medium is fine for most cases, while High is better when adding a large logo.
How do I generate many QR codes at once?
Use the Batch tab to upload a CSV or Excel file with one item per row. The tool generates a QR code for each row and packages them all into a single ZIP download.
Can I scan and decode an existing QR code?
Yes. The Scanner tab lets you scan a QR code using your device camera or upload an image file to instantly decode its content.
