Veteran K-pop group Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon has come out with her ‘resignation’ letter to SM Entertainment. He has been with the company for over ten years and has worked with them in both group and solo settings.
The company has been in the midst of controversy recently and it was revealed that Kakao will acquire SM Entertainment. Additionally, HYBE will drop its plans to work with them.
Taeyeon posted a screenshot from the TV series. The Glory which shows a paper with “Park Yoon-jin’s resignation letter”. It was written on it, but he changed the words to say “Kim Tae-won’s letter of resignation.” Instead
He coupled it with a quote: “Everything changes. Thoughts. Feelings. People. Everything you thought would last forever, eventually changes.”
Many fans took the status to believe that this means that she will be leaving SM Entertainment and that she is hinting at the situation within the agency.
