The Federal Education and Professional Training (FEPT) Division have received approval from the Finance Division to provide Rs 6 billion to 27 public sector development projects (PSDP) in the budget for FY2022-23.
There are currently 25 ongoing projects, and two new projects have been accepted for funding. Twenty-five current projects will get a total of Rs. 5.85 billion, while 149.33 million rupees will be earmarked for brand new initiatives.
Scholarships for 1,600 deserving students from the Indian-occupied region of Jammu and Kashmir totaled Rs 150.74 million in Budget FY2022-23. The project’s budget of Rs 2.05 billion was authorized on May 6th, 2019.
The project has received a total of Rs. 888.21 million in funding thus far. The project needs Rs 1.16 billion of the total allowed cost to be finished. There will be an additional Rs. 150.74 million in funding for the project in FY2022-23.
The National Curriculum Council will also be funded with Rs. 106.31 million (NCC). At a cost of Rs. 720.82 million, this project was given the go-ahead on June 2nd, 2021. The project has received a total of Rs. 234.74 million in funding thus far. The remaining Rs 486.07 million of the authorized budget is needed to finish the project. However, only Rs. 106.31 million has been allotted to the project by the Finance Division for the fiscal year 2022–2023.
