Harry Styles’ stage crew have reportedly been held up by thugs in Brazil ahead of a concert scheduled to take place in the south of the country last night.
The crew was driving a cargo van south along the B-116 highway to the city of Curitiba from Sao Paulo on Friday when the tragic incident occurred.
According to a report from a Brazilian news channel, G1 Police say three men – two of whom were armed – overtook the van, forced it to stop, and then stole it along with the contents inside.
The British singer played in Rio de Janeiro on Thursday night, and is set to perform in Curitiba on Saturday.
According to the Tribune site, the van contained instruments used by the band that accompanied Styles on his Low On Tour.
Police say the driver was ‘pressed’ by the three robbers, who have yet to be identified. The van could not be recovered either.
