Senior members of the royal family hosted a lavish reception at Buckingham Palace last night as the new monarch was pelted with an egg.
Annually held by King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince and Princess of Wales. A white-tie diplomatic corps reception at the palace.
Camilla, 75, donned an Anna Valentine gown with the Queen’s sapphire and diamond tiara which she paired with a matching tiara.
On the other hand, Kate Middleton grabbed the attention as she looked stunning in a red lace dress by Jenny Packham and paired it with a lotus flower tiara.
The gathering was supposed to take place in March this year but was postponed due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Charles hosted the diplomatic corps in the State Rooms of Buckingham Palace where around 2,000 guests were invited to celebrate London as the world’s largest diplomatic corps.
