Netflix has apparently ignored a plea from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to delay their docu-series as the platform has decided to release the $100 million (£88 million) series next month.
According to Page six, an insider shared that “the show will go on” in December. “As far as I know, the documentaries are still going ahead later this year.”
The Duchess of Sussex has suggested that she has handed over her story to the filmmakers “even if it means it’s not the way we would have told it.”
“It’s nice to be able to trust someone with your story — a veteran director whose work I’ve long admired — even if it means it’s not the way it should be. We would have told him. But why aren’t we telling it. We’re trusting someone else with our story, and that means it’s going to come through their lens.
“It’s exciting. My husband has never worked in this industry before. For me, after working on ‘Suits,’ it’s amazing to be around so much creative energy and see how people work together. and share their perspectives. It was really fun,” he added.
