It is the 1,156th day of Pakistani skipper Babar Azam’s rule, which Rizwan has asked his supporters and the cricket community to celebrate by considering his current T20I ranking as the top spot.
Mohammad Rizwan has requested that the cricketing community recognize his current T20I ranking as the 1,156th day of Pakistani captain Babar Azam’s dominance over the same rank.
Rizwan took to Twitter to thank everyone who supported him and to remind cricket lovers that today marks the 1,156th day of the reign of the “Kaptaan” Babar Azam.
It is worth noting that Pakistan’s wicket-keeper has supplanted the captain, Babar Azam, atop the T20I rankings after Azam had held sway for over a thousand days.
The tweet concluded with Rizwan’s gratitude to his followers for their support and well wishes.
In 2020, Rizwan ranked 158th best T20I batsman. He became the best Twenty20 International batsman in the world in 2021, earning him the title of T20I Cricketer of the Year.
Since his debut in 2015, Rizwan has played 59 Twenty20 Internationals, during which he has scored 1,854 runs with a strike rate of 128.72.
