Kim Kardashian has opened up about her challenging and highly publicized fallout with ex-husband Kanye West, saying she’s keeping quiet about it to protect her children.
in an emotional conversation with her mother Kris Jenner on the second episode of the third season of her reality show The KardashiansKim discussed her efforts to shield her children from the drama surrounding her divorce.
“I still don’t feel the need to talk about it and protect it from my kids.”
Kris Jenner added that she suspects her daughter, North, “is hearing something, and maybe she won’t say it. That breaks my heart.”
Kim revealed that due to strict policies in her household none of her children know about the public drama, “It’s a series for my whole house. No TV, just Apple TV.” “
“I have to find a way to protect myself and so they haven’t seen anything yet, but I’ve gone into crisis mode,” Kim said in the confessional.
“I’m the one who’s being accused and blamed for a lot of things. And it’s really, really painful and it’s useless, but I can control how I react. And if I’m a mess, I can control. Then my kids will see that.”
He then emotionally told his mother, “I really believe that one day, my children will appreciate my silence, my understanding and my grace, and I will try to keep it with me all the time.”
