Chris Hemsworth, best known for playing the Marvel character Thor for more than a decade, believes that his last film in the role, Thor: Love and Thunderwas too comical to his detriment.
“I think we had too much fun. It just got too silly,” Hemsworth said of the film, which received some negative reviews when it was released in 2022.
“It’s always difficult to be at the center of it and have a real perspective… I love the process, it’s always a ride. But you never know how people will respond.”
gave take out The star revealed that his eight-year-old son’s friends were his biggest critics, “It’s a bunch of eight-year-olds criticizing my film. ‘We thought it had a lot of humor, the action was good but the VFX wasn’t that great.’
Hemsworth also shared his thoughts. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania Not doing well with critics and fans alike. He said he hadn’t seen the movie but thought enough about its marketing to explain why Marvel turned the movie around. Ant Man franchise in a large multi-generational epic.
Reflecting on this, he said, “That’s the trick: You have to separate all these stories. The moment is: ‘Your world is in danger, the whole universe!’ It’s like, ‘Yeah, so [it] The last 24 films were.’ It has to be a little more personal and grounded.”
Hemsworth will next be seen in an action film. Extract 2, which will be available on Netflix from June 16.
