Royal photographer Hugo Berndt, who previously photographed Charles and Camilla’s wedding moments in 2005, had another chance to photograph the royal family’s historic coronation.
Taking to their official social media accounts, the royal family shared pictures of the coronation.
The official portrait of the 74-year-old monarch shows him in the Imperial State Crown, wearing two crowns on the day of his coronation.
For the solo shot of the monarch, King Charles was in full royal regalia in the throne room, wearing the Imperial State Crown and Imperial State Dress while holding the Sovereign’s Orb and Sovereign’s King with Cross.
Camilla, 75, posed for a solo portrait in the Green Drawing Room while wearing Queen Mary’s crown and her robes of state.
In another photo, King Charles and Queen Camilla pose together in the throne room at Buckingham Palace.
In another post, the palace shared a group photo of the royal family at work.

Also pictured were the Duke of Kent, Duchess of Gloucester, Duke of Gloucester, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Lawrence, Princess Anne, Sophie the Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Alexandra and Prince Edward Duke of Edinburgh.
King Charles also released a special message alongside the pictures, which said: “As the coronation draws to a close, my wife and I just want to say our most sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone. who helped make this a special occasion,” he said in the statement. “We are particularly grateful to the countless people who have given their time and dedication to ensure that events in London, Windsor and beyond are as happy, safe and enjoyable as possible. Be happy.”
“To those who joined the celebrations — whether at home, at street parties and luncheons or by volunteering in the communities — we thank everyone,” he continued. “Knowing that we have your support and encouragement, and witnessing your kindness in so many different ways, is the greatest possible coronation gift, as we now dedicate our lives to the people of Great Britain, the Territories and the Commonwealth. Dedicated to service.”
