Faith III Star Tessa Thompson revealed that she and her co-star Michael B. Jordan underwent couples therapy to prepare for the film.
In a recent interview with Refinery 29, Thompson, 39, said she and Bea Jordan underwent couples therapy to prepare for their roles in the film, Bianca and Adonis “Donnie” Creed.
“Sometimes the line between the character and us gets blurred because we bring a lot of what we personally are looking for in characters in general,” the actress revealed.
“So funny, it was the first time … I’m probably saying too much. I’d say it was the first experience of couples therapy for both of us. [personally]but it was like these characters, which is very strange,” he added.

“What are the themes that you’re seeing? What might they be up against? What might be obstacles to their happiness or success as a couple? It was really fascinating to hear from her and bring that to Stu as well. “
