Departure of the dead body of the former president General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf Pakistan’s arrival from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been further delayed.

According to aviation officials, a special flight was scheduled to depart from Dubai at 8:30 PM Pakistani time and will land at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport at 10:15 PM.
It was earlier informed that the dead body of the deceased was to be brought to Pakistan at 11:30 am Pakistan time on Monday. However, diplomatic sources later said that there has been a delay and the special jet will leave for Pakistan at 7 pm.
The deceased is being brought back to Karachi from Dubai by a special plane, which took off from Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport. Former president’s wife Sohba Musharraf and her children will also be in the plane.
The aircraft A319 was tasked with bringing the last remains of the plane. Former Army Chief And the plane was given a “special flight” status.
The bereaved family formally approached the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai on Sunday and sought permission to repatriate Pervez Musharraf’s body.
It should be noted that the former president’s mother was buried in Dubai while his father was buried in Karachi.
Sources have also reported that the funeral prayer of the former president will be offered tomorrow (Tuesday) at 1:45 PM at Polo Ground, Malir Cantt, Karachi.

Shortly after, the Pakistani Consulate in Dubai issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the transfer of Pervez Musharraf’s body to Pakistan.
