Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan on Monday announced his marriage to the daughter of the team’s current head coach and veteran cricketer Saqlain Mushtaq.
Taking to the microblogging website, the 24-year-old cricketer shared a tweet updating fans with a note about the major developments in his life.
“Alhamdulillah, today is my marriage. It’s a big day in my life and the beginning of a new chapter. Please respect my choice and those people. [of my] Wife, and our family. Prayers and love to all,” he tweeted.
Meanwhile, Khan’s note read that he was becoming part of his “consultant butler brother’s family”.
The young fast bowler spoke about his choice to always keep his family life separate from work, saying that his family also chose to stay away from public life.
“My wife has said the same, she wants her life to be private.
The cricketer wrote in a sarcastically welcoming manner Peace, Greeting “| Will send an account number,” he wrote in his note.
