Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been warned by their own biographer Hope Scooby about losing loyal supporters as the couple’s recent exposure to the media has put them at odds with the rest of the royal family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made headlines in recent months for Netflix and their documentary on Harry’s memoir ‘Spear’.
The California-based couple have revealed detailed insights into the firm and their relationship with other members of the royal family, sparking a backlash from some of their biggest critics – including Piers Morgan and Candice Owens.
Hope Scooby, friend of the Sussexes and author of Finding Freedom, said Harry and Meghan had put themselves in a “dangerous place”.
Speaking on last week’s Riley Obsessed podcast episode, the biographer noted that his presence in the media could cause him some major problems.
When hosts Rachel Bowie and Roberta Fioreto were asked if they thought people were getting tired of the couple, Hope said: “In a lot of ways, how can a normal person not get tired of the Sussexes at this point?
“I almost feel like it’s my duty to follow him every step of the way, but I can understand that ordinary members of the public usually only get to hear so much about royal dramas.
“I sympathize with the Sussexes in some ways, because they are only willing to enter the story at this late stage.
“For years, they weren’t able to share their side. They watched others try to tell their version or they sat back and watched things being reported about them that they disagreed with. were or did not feel it was a fair representation of themselves
“So now they’ve come in with their own version of events, with their own stories and filling in the gaps that we didn’t know about. But of course, that comes after years and years of coverage. So I People seem to be starting to get a little tired of the story in general.”
The biographer also stated that the couple’s reasonably intense approach “serves them well” as the couple “want to move forward”.
However, he added: “I think they’re in a bit of a precarious place where they need to be aware of the fact that there’s a line to be drawn. Otherwise, I think people – even the most Even die-hard supporters – will start to feel frustrated not seeing the couple move forward or feel the happiness they talk about.
“So I think now is the time where they have to step up as well. Otherwise, they will become synonymous with lifelong drama, e.g [what] The royal family struggles with that and I don’t think that’s where anyone particularly wants to be.
On the other hand, a source close to King Charles told the Sunday Times: “It’s going to take flexibility on all sides, but it can be done, it’s right, he needs Harry here, in the room with the King and the Prince. Wells and some other family members.”
