The National Security Committee (NSC) headed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif decided that no country will be allowed to provide shelter and facilities to terrorists and Pakistan reserves all rights to protect its people. .
According to an official statement issued by the Prime Minister’s House on Monday, these resolutions came during the 40th session of the NSC in Islamabad.
On Friday, the NSC vowed to respond strongly to resurgent terrorism in the country and termed the militants as “enemies of Pakistan”.
The Forum reiterated its commitment to zero tolerance for terrorism in Pakistan and reiterated its determination to take action against any and all entities that resort to violence.

The statement revealed that the forum took a comprehensive assessment of the ongoing economic situation, taking into account the challenges faced by the common people of Pakistan, especially the low and middle income groups.
Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Ishaq Dar briefed the forum about the government’s roadmap for economic stability, including the status of discussions with international financial institutions, exploring other financing avenues based on mutual interests, as well as for the common man. The 40th meeting was attended by the concerned members of the Federal Cabinet, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, all service chiefs and heads of intelligence services.
