Netflix Incongruous has been canceled after airing just one season, as reported by Variety. The series premiered on July 29, 2022 on the platform.
Comedy drama created by Darren Starr and Jeffrey Richman starring Neil Patrick Harris as Michael Lawson.
Incongruous Follows the story of Michael who thought his life was perfect until his partner 17 years later walks out the door and blinds him.
Overnight, Michael experiences two nightmares, who he thought were his soulmates and suddenly finds himself a single gay man in his mid-forties in New York City.
The series received solid reviews when it was released with the first season holding a 73% critic approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and the series also managing a 75% viewer approval rating.
However, it failed to make a significant impact in viewership with the series, despite only appearing in the Netflix Top 10 chart for one week after coming in at number six.
The star is also the creator of the streamer’s hit series. Emily in Paris remains in business with Netflix despite its cancellation. Incongruous
